ECOLOGICAL DAY 2018_ 2019

ECOLOGICAL DAY (2018-19)

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain. We are all independent upon one another. If we care we share and live longer. Join the race to make the world a better place. The choice you make today will decide the life you live tomorrow. It is important to look after our environment in order to make the Earth a better place to live.

To increase the awareness about the negative changes in our environment, ecological day was celebrated in St. Mary Champion’s School at Suryadev Nagar Campus on 23rd July 2018 Monday.

Plant a sapling, you plant a new life. The school authorities motivated the students to plant more and more trees in order to make the surroundings green .Saplings were planted by the students as well as the Principal and the Co-coordinator.

On this eve many cultural programmes were also hosted to highlight young minds that it’s everyone’s duty to safeguard the ecological system of our Earth, firstly our Tiny Tots of class KGII represented the beauty of the nature through their Action song.

After that Plastic song was presented by the students that tells us about the hazards of uses of plastics – It’s proved that a plastic man really, actually no man at all. Plastic never goes away. It kills but can’t be killed. So, to take care of our Earth we have to say “NO” to plastics.

We can no more receive God’s blessings with an unclean body than with an unclean mind. “A clean body cannot reside in an unclean city”. Students of class 4th and 5th put in hard work to bring this beautiful message through their Hindi Skit.

Then class 5th students performed their dance to give message to Save Water and at last the program concluded with the Earth Song of Michael Jackson by Class III students with a fabulous message that “We are the world we are future we are the ones who makes our brighter day, so let’s start giving, there are choices were making.”

Then, the Principal showered her blessings to the students and urging them about not to waste water, say no to plastic and plant more and more trees. We must understand the importance of ecological balance and try our best to run it naturally in order to prevent the effects of environmental disasters and promote the existence of healthy environment.

At last the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs .Priyanka Rai.
