Inter-House Competition

Students are divided into four houses for various inter-house competitions with a view to inculcate the virtues of unity, team spirit and will power to meet challenges

The School organized inter house debate competition.  For the class group VI-VIII the topic was Is the use of technology changing people for the better… or worse” And for the class group IX-XII the topic was “Should bottled water be banned”. The students participated with full enthusiasm they presented their views in favour and against the topic. It was cut throat competition among the students. Students showed a lot of confidence while speaking on the topic.

Students who were present there got knowledge about the positive and negative aspect the debate issues. The participants, armed with statistics and data made their arguments more emphatic with their righteous facial expressions and voice modulation. They exhibited great oratory skill.

Class group VI-VIII

In for the motion category, Varshita Khedkar of Homi Jahangir Bhabha House bagged the Best Speaker Award. Tanishka Upadhyay of Kalpana Chawla House secured second position. In against the motion category, Tanisha Sharma of C.V. Raman House was adjudged the Best Speaker and Nidhi Sharma of C.V. Raman House was declared the runner up.

Class group IX-XII

In for the motion category, Varun Pandya of J.C. Bose House bagged the Best Speaker Award. Yuvraj Sisodiya of Homi Jahangir Bhabha House secured second position. In against the motion category, Vanshit Yadav of Kalpana Chawla House was adjudged the Best Speaker and Manan Mogra of J.C. Bose House was declared the runner up.

Poem and Story Telling Competition Class I to V

An Interhouse poem recitation and storytelling competition was held on 20th August 2019 for the primary wing. ‘Beauty is the realm of poetry’, children enjoy the beauty of expressions of thoughts, feelings, rhyme rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The children came up with different poems and stories and performed with great feel and enthusiasm. The final judgment was made by our respected Principal ma’am. Students were judge on parameters like confidence; voice modulation props used and on the overall presentation.

The School organized the Inter House Sanskrit shlok recitation Competition on 27/08/2019 and Inter house Declamation Competition on 29/08/2019 that served as an ideal platform for facilitating an exchange of ideas among the student fraternity. The Inter House Sanskrit shlok recitation Competition was conducted for the students of the middle Section (Grades VI -VIII) and The Declamation Contest was conducted for the students of the Senior Section (Grades IX -XII).

The dynamic participants mesmerized the student audience with their vibrant oratory skills. They were made to present their views on diverse topics within the given time limit. They displayed confidence, enthusiasm and awareness while participating in the competition.

The judges congratulated and appreciated the efforts put in by the young, energetic, eloquent and persuasive orators.
